Can someone please tell me what the current status of Ekiga on Windows is? I
understand that the latest version 3.2.6 has issues with Windows and is no
longer down-loadable from the Ekiga site.
Are these issues being worked? Is there another (older?) version which works
acceptably under Windows?
Sorry to reply so late.
I am working slowly to get it working. For now, it compiles, it
installs and exits cleanly, cf.
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Building_Ekiga_for_Windows. I need to
make tests for communications.
The only major issue which made that it is no longer downloadable is non
reproducible on my machine, so I cannot fix it.
Someone tested also the issue for uninstall on IRC and was not able to
reproduce. IMHO it is either a rare case, either something completly
unrelated to Ekiga.
BTW, will you patch with STUN support for RTP? (the "NAT patch")
Yes. I have put a debug exe (40Mb) at http://eugen.dedu.free.fr/awinek
from current stable branch, with nat patch and a vista patch included,
it would be wonderful if someone could test it and give any feedback...
