I suppose you are hit by bug
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/Troubleshooting#I_hear_the_ring.2C_but_the_communication_is_not_established
 Try removing some unneeded codecs, so that the exchanged packets are
smaller.

If still does not work, send us the -d 4 debug output.
