It looks like a strange problem. You mention above that you did not
get a broadcard.com dialup account.
Is there a typo there? Why do you mention this service?

I did a search on ekiga.net (from Addressbook) for an account of yours
and it shows your sip address
is "sip:tom enterline ekiga net" instead of 'enterlin ekiga net'.
If you get a 'You credit is low' message when calling 500 ekiga net,
something is wrong
and you end up calling a dialout account instead of ekiga.
