We had to remove it due to a bug in Asterisk that was flooding users.

What do you see if you don't see the gray offline icon ? The buddy icon
which means 'unknown status' ?

In that case, most probably you are using an old version of opal. Are
you using OPAL 3.4.4 or earlier ?
