I debugged the ./configure process and it turned out that I mus add CPPFLAGS
as:

./configure --enable-plugins --enable-v4l2=yes --enable-sunaudio=no --enable-oss=yes --prefix=/usr/local --disable-sdl CPPFLAGS='-I/usr/local/include/'

now it copiles fine;
