The iLBC codec has been disabled for licence reasons in the Debian
version; anyway, I also tried with the daily snapshots with disabled
iLBC with the same results.

Already tested without any outbound proxy: can't hear anything and it
seems that no data is coming from the network.
I really wonder what makes gizmo's echo test different. I'm completely
confused: what can I try now?
