I'm not aware of this.

I suppose the ALSA plugin works fine.

Have you been able to determine what the issue could be ? (the
PulseAudio plugin being PTLIB)

Hi Damien,

no I have not found out the issue yet. My up-to-date debian testing
crashes independent of whether I select ptlib/pulse or ptlib/alsa for my
sound devices.

I guess you know about this one already, but when starting a H.323
conference (or a sip call), ekiga crashes. A gdb backtrace reveals:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
[Switching to Thread 0x7fff8a46a700 (LWP 7071)]
0x00007fffe42f7db8 in PSoundChannelPulse::Read(void*, int) ()
from /usr/lib/ptlib-2.10.10/devices/sound/pulse_pwplugin.so

So this is essentially a ptlib / Pulseaudio issue, I guess. This is in
Debian Jessie (testing), so it might be a more widespread problem soonish.

Thanks for Ekiga,
