Hi,
I just committed some more debugging code to the service core : now at
shutdown, after it released services (which is supposed to trigger their
destruction), it tries to see if some are still there, and prints their
names (of course, you have to set DEBUG to 1 at the start of
services.cpp to trigger this debugging output).
On my system, it shows the service named "videooutput-core" isn't freed
correctly.
Could this be the reason of the win32 freeze on exit?
Snark
