[Ekiga-devel-list] Encoding used for strings

Hi,

Does ekiga work only with utf-8 strings (i.e. each string it receives is 
encoded to utf-8 before anything else, and it is used afterwards as 
utf-8), or with locale/other encoded strings and it encodes it to utf-8 
just before showing it to screen (or putting it in a file for ex.)?
