1. I grouped all libpt-snapshot-plugins-* packages into one package,
libpt-snapshot-plugins.
Is this a good idea? I think stable has many separate plugins, since
each plugin has different dependencies, at least I think so...
In Kilian's debs and in actual debian ones, all libpt-plugins-* depend
on the same packages. So it should be ok.
Mmm, I haven't checked the .deb yet, but are you telling me that

luca gismo:~$ apt-cache search libpt-1.10.10-plugins
libpt-1.10.10-plugins-alsa - Portable Windows Library Audio Plugin for the ALSA Interface
libpt-1.10.10-plugins-avc - PWLib Video Plugin for IEEE1394 (FireWire) AVC devices
libpt-1.10.10-plugins-dc - PWLib Video Plugin for IEEE1394 (Firewire) DC Devices
libpt-1.10.10-plugins-oss - Portable Windows Library Audio Plugins for the OSS Interface
libpt-1.10.10-plugins-v4l - Portable Windows Library Video Plugin for Video4Linux

will be one single package? Please avoid that, at least because it's
useless to install a V4L plugin when your webcam supports V4L2 only or
having another OSS application when you want to get rid of it.
Hi,
Between :
- having 6 packages, so wonder which one to choose (for ex. in my case
by default v4l was installed, afterwards I saw that uvc works only in
v4l2, reinstall v4l2, remove v4l...), complexify the dependencies etc.
- having 1 package, with each plugin having about 150kB (IIRC)
do you still choose the first? I think "simpler is better", but if you
really think it's better to have several packages, I will modify it.
I think having avc, dc and oss as separate packages might be a good idea
as they are specific plugins that few people need.
Ok!
