Hello Stefan,
I also heard about SDL using XV, but I never found any official documentation about this one, Do
you have some links to share? I am just curious... Also I did some tests and I never got any
acceleration out of SDL, it always reported no capabilities although I was trying to use a YUV420P
surface that is supported by my XV driver... Another question just being curious, does ekiga run
accelerated on your system?
Anyway, I agree with you on the dependency issue...
