Hmm, the problem is that you have to provide a custom paint-event
handler, which was the original reason why I asked about using
GtkEntry instead of GtkComboBoxEntry (for GtkEntry other people
already wrote that code ;-)).

So consensus for the padlock-icon is on putting it into the status-bar?
