Re: ID3v1, anyone still using it?

Disabling ID3v1 by default is probably fine, although improving the UI
to better show the limitations of the current tagging format would be
useful. However, for most modern tagging formats, there are few (if any)
practical limitations, so it might be a case of writing a lot of code
for a legacy format which is rather broken.

From my personal perspective, I have few MP3 files in my music
collection (around 5%) and all my software players support ID3v2.4, so
disabling ID3v1 is an easy choice.

I have disabled ID3v1 tag writing by default in the wip/application-window branch:

https://git.gnome.org/browse/easytag/log/?h=wip%2Fapplication-window&qt=grep&q=ID3v1+tags

I am hoping to merge this branch to master soon, once I have reviewed all the UI strings that have changed in the branch.
