If you look at EasyTag's user interface, THAT path has been left aeons
ago.

I think that between then and now, what could be claimed to be easy has changed a bit. ;-)

I only took over as maintainer at the end of 2012, and I have tried to keep the Ui close to the version at that time, mainly working on internal refactoring. That work is now ready to be merged, so if anyone has ideas on improving the UI (however dramatic the changes might be) let's discuss that in a separate thread.
