In principle, adding support for more tag fields is simple. However, there are several problems associated with adding new fields. Mostly, the EasyTAG UI is becoming increasingly cluttered:

I would say that a 2.1.9 release should happen around the start of June, and after that I should have some time to work on support for extra tag fields. Of course, if someone else gets to it before then, I would find time to help merge any patches.
