Hi Marius,

Indeed, the "Fill Tag" scanner is done for that... If in your case you have a file name like this:

   Various - MOBY - Hotel (2005) - 01 - Hotel Intro.mp3
a pattern like this should work:
    %i - %a - %b (%y) - %n - %t

Then to save the *selected* files/tags, just use the menu "File" -> 
"Save file(s)" in the main windows...
