[Easytag-mailing] Icon theming?

I'm working on providing a theme I like with icons for EasyTAG.  I found  
the pixmaps directory in the source tarball and can create replacements for  
all of the icons.  The question is how I can replace them in the program.   
I've tried adding them like stock icons in other programs, but it hasn't  
worked.  Are they referred like other stock GTK icons?  If not, can they be  
in the future?
