Note that you can disable the scanning of the directory, when
the app starts, in the option window.

The best program of this type under
windows seems to be tag & rename, its a good place to start.
Im
using gentoo linux now and easytag compiles and run perfectly, the button
options are cool. Need to add a gnome menu entry and icon. I find the
startup scan anoying myself, all in all i think its a excellent program.
I will look at submitting a ebuild to gentoo when i work out how to
write one.
