Hello,

Your information on the plugin doesn't mention the column settings of
the Sort option. Perhaps, because it doesn't work.
I was trying to sort a columnar list by the 61st column and nothing
happens.
The sorting isn't working because you have tabs in your file. The
column number which you see in the gedit window are visual columns
where a tab can count as one or more columns. In the sort plugin, a
tab always counts as one column.
I have filed a bug about this at
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=741733
You may wish to subscribe to the bug to monitor the progress or to
upload your sample file to help the developers test the plugin.
If the bug is not fixed soon, it is possible to add a warning to the
help page to say that the sort plugin does not work if there are tabs
in the file. If you would like to help do this, you can find more
information on how to get in touch with the team at
https://wiki.gnome.org/DocumentationProject/Contact
Thank you for the feedback,
Kat
Please see the attached list to be sorted.
Thank you
