The fix should be in Vino 3.9.92 (and 3.8.2 if there is a future release in the 3.8 branch) but is only likely to be triggered by older versions of Vino, as the GSettings schema was changed in 3.7.3 to make this impossible to trigger in the default configuration. The patch to fix the bug in all configurations is simple, and should be safe to apply to all versions of Vino:
