I am an experienced VISIO and new DIA user.
I am quite impressed with your DIA software - fine work!
After using Diaw.exe for a few weeks I have 2 questions on v0.97.2:
[1] I am trying to COPY some objects from layer 1 to a new layer 2 that I have NOT grouped beforehand.
SOMETIMES it pastes the objects to the left, other times it properly positions the objects on 2 so they perfectly overlay the position on layer 1. What determines the paste positioning?
I suspect
 on
the LAYERS sidebar has something to do with this, however I have not found the explanation for that symbol on any of the HELP documentation.
[2] When I paste a selection of objects that were copied using SHIFT-CLICK, I would like to MOVE
that bunch using the arrow keys. They paste-in as a selected bunch but don't respond to the arrow keys. If I GROUP those items first, then this works fine - I'm just wondering if there is a way to do this without grouping them first?
