Re: How is Dia running on an Android/Ubuntu tablet?

Hi Michael, good to have some feedback from you! After a thorough research I came to the conclusion that tablet is not a good tool for programmers. I will still buy one maybe later, but only for consuming content, not producing it.

I am not a UNIX guy, but there are only certain UNIX OS that are supported the others require compiling specifically - as I understand it.  THe UNIX flavors that do work are documented, but due to my own non-use of it I don't know where that info is.

If Unbuntu is "in the system" then you can see if it works.  If not, you can do the work to try it out.  You won't be the last to want it, so if you share the results that would be very kind and helpful.

I'm currently contemplating buying a Nexus 7 as my primary computing device. On my currently laptop, dia is a powerful tool. Is anyone familiar with running Dia on an Android or Ubuntu Linux tablet? Does the interface actually support it?
I would appreciate any thoughts on this subject. Many thanks.
