Text anchoring points

Hi,

I have started using Dia few weeks ago has already eased my life a
lot.  Aslo I have the following feature suggestion which would be a
"good to have".

The line always seem to have an anchoring point (not sure if it is the
exact term used in Dia circles) in the middle, which, is great that
one can anchor text and other elements to it, and move associated
items around without effecting the meaning of the diagram.

Request is: can we have similar type of anchoring points in other
elements as well (as in Arc, Zigzagline, Bezeierline, etc.), which,
would be equally helpful.

I myself would like to contribute but thought that there may be others
who are well conversant with the code that could add a feature like
above much faster.
