Printing since Dia 0.97 is using mostly GtkPrint code which for me can 
_print_ to protrait or landscape on Windows without problems.

The FAQ seems to refer to some old workaround, did you try without?

If you actually dont _print_ but try to _export_ to PDF via GtkPrint there 
is a known issue with landscape cause by a bug in GtkPrint, see:

If you are atually interested in a PDF with landscape a working way on 
Windows would be http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
