New shapes in Dia

Hi,

Dia looks like an ideal tool for drawing electronic circuit diagrams and 
I am trying to create new shapes e.g. of  various types of tubes which 
could be useful also other users, too.

However, the new shapes just show just the main element of the shape 
correctly  while the other grafic elements are reduced to outlines (thin 
blue lines) instead of the image created..  It makes no difference if 
the elements were grouped or ungrouped before export.

I enclose both the shape and the dia files for your reference. Can you help?
