Hi,
I just installed Dia for the first time on Vista x64. When I started Dia
the tools like window with the title "Dia v0.96.1" was mostly off the
screen of my second monitor. The Diagram1.dia window was on the expected
place on my -primary monitor. When using the File > Open option to load
a file the dialog to select a file is displayed across the 2 monitors
and partly offscreen.
These are all Gtk+ issues, some of them already reported.
E.g.: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=512580
My setup:
left monitor 1024x768
right monitor 1280x960 (this is the primary monitor)
I made a screenshot of the desktop. You can see it at

The black rectangle at the top left is not part of any monitor.
That black rectangle is part of the problem, AFAIK there is no mechanism
in Gtk+ to handle holes in your screen. Without looking at the image my
advise is to not have it at the top of your virtual screen.
Best regards,
Michel
