Re: Win32 Compilation - Python Plugin

Steffen,

Ah yes, the old I forget to check I had the new files trick as I was half
working off the old compilation instructions.

It does go a lot further this time but a new error has popped up even
though I commented out the python reference on line 65 of the
c:\gtk\dia\makefile.msc:

dia-python-extra.cpp
dia-python-extra.cpp(24) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file:
'Python.
h': No such file or directory
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: 'cl' : return code '0x2'
Stop.
NMAKE : fatal error U1077: '"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual
Studio\VC98\bin\N
MAKE.EXE"' : return code '0x2'
Stop.

Thanks,

Timothy

Are you sure that you've got the latest version of the dia_extra_src_msvc
files?

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/dia-installer/dia_extra_src_msvc_2009-05-12.zip

clearly has

gtk\bin\diadev.bat

Sometimes the zip program omits the folder structure from the zip file
- causing trouble.
The folder structure from the zip file needs to be preserved.
It also has the
gtk/glib/msvc_recommended_pragmas.h
that I can see missing from your build output.

Could you verify that you have

c:\gtk\bin\gdk-pixbuf-csource.exe

?
It comes with the GTK+ bundle

Steffen
