Problem with svn version

Some time ago I could succesfully compile 0.96.1 version. But I need some help
with the svn version

I downloaded the dia-SVN-20080514-0300.tar.gz and while trying to run
configure I found:

1.--- There are four links to /usr/share/automake-1.8/.... As I have
automake-1.9 I made a symbolik link automake-1.8 pointing to automake-1.9 (Don
know whether this will be inconvenient)

2. --- While running ./configure I got an error

./configure: line 19987: syntax error near unexpected token `0.35.0'
./configure: line 19987: `IT_PROG_INTLTOOL(0.35.0)'

I erased (0.35.0)and then could run configure I got
Configuration:

        Compiler:               gcc

        Gnome support:                          no
        Python support:                         no
        Libart support (PNG export):            yes
        Cairo support (experimental):           no
        Gnome Print support (experimental):     no
        Dia Python bindings with SWIG           no

Now type make to build dia...

3 I run make ; I got

("Permiso denegado" means "Permission denied", I beleive)
