Hi!
I just saw Dia on ohloh[1] and added some links, tags and a small
review. On the summary there is a small "issue" listed named "Few source
code comments"[2]. According to the statistics, Dia has 13% source code
documentation.
I dont know verry much about the Dia-codebase, but I want to contribute
something to the project. Are there any diagrams (hehe :) about the
architecture of the code so I can get a basic understanding of the codebase?
Not nearly as much as there should be. There's some random jottings at
http://www.faemalia.org/wiki/view/Technical/DiaEditor and a few diagrams
in the samples dir in the distribution. Better comments would
definitely not hurt, and a lot of the files are simple enough that
commenting should not be tough. Some amount of the code (75000 lines
out of 240000) is in the objects dir, where there's a lot of copied
code.
