Re: dia command line export needing X server

Hi Lars and al.
Is the X server requirement is due to Gnome/Gtk+ framework or the dia package? Is there any way to use the command line functionality without running an X server?

This has previously been reported in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=119331 and fixed. Do you run
with --nosplash?
you'right... so sorry I missed it in the bugzilla. Actually, using the --nosplash flag it works like a charm (put aside a little warning about not being able to open X server connexion). Might be interesting to add this feature in the --help or in the man page, since one would assume that there is obviously no splash when dia is run from the command line to run an export.
PS : I'll be glad to share the mediawiki extension if anybody want it.
A link to it would be nice for the Links page.
I'll clean the code a little bit and submit it on mediawiki extension repository.

Cheers,

Denis
-Lars
