The behaviour could be reproduced here under
v0.95-pre4 (Windows XP) according to the description.
A screenshot of the result after pasting is attached.
My results are "the same" as Wolfangs's.
I work with Suse 9.2
But then I did two more tests:
1) Instead of using the diagram I sent to the list I created a new similar
....       Select all. Edit->copy   Edit->paste
 Nothing wrong happened: I reproduced Lars' test.
2) Again I opened the diagram I sent to the list.
....       Select all. Edit->copy   Edit->paste
   Wrong results again.
.... I touched the wrong line and CTRL-X: nothing happened.
.... I touched the copied ellipse and OH!!!:
     The wrong line jumped in place!!!!
Wolfram: Can you reproduce this? Thank you

Yes, there's another one out this evening. This
time, there's more
autogapping, three, count them, three security
fixes in the xfig
importer (ouch!), UML wrapping updates, and a
strange bug I haven't
pinpointed in internationalization that seems to
turn Dia to the C
locale halfway through startup. It's available
There is some problem with my 0.95-pre5 version.
I attach a diagram with just a Standard - Ellipse
with two connected lines
If I select "all" and then Edit-> Copy and then
     with version 0.94 everything looks right.
 But with version 0.95-pre5
one of the lines of copied stuff gets joined to
the source ellipse
Please try it just in case this is a general bug
Can't reproduce it from your description. Can you
do a step-by-step
description? Or else attach a diagram that show the
Dia-list mailing list
