I'm experiencing the same here too. Windows 2000 Pro SP4. Tried
gtk+-2.8.9-setup-1.zip, the one from the dia-installer site. Tried
removing GTK and Dia before reinstalling. Didn't work.
Unfortunately, I don't have a Windows 2000 machine available for testing.
Could you try the following:
a) Install GTK+ 2.6 (Also available from gimp-win.sourceforge.net
b) Copy all dlls from the GTK+ installation to the bin folder of your
dia installation.
