No, there's no way outside of recompiling to do that. Why? Because the
UML class doesn't use StdProps yet, so it doesn't have automatic
defaults settings.
Is there a template or example for converting these guys to StdProps?
The reason they haven't been converted yet is that they're quite
complicated. In particular, we don't yet have a property widget that can
handle the fancy multi-line props that UML class is awash in.
Either way, where would I want to start nosing around in the source?
I'm sure I could just grab the SRPM for the version she's using (whatever
comes with RH 8.0) and tweak the source, making for minimal disturbance.
You want to look at fill_in_font_data() in objects/UML/class.c for the
quick hack.
