Good to hear! I'll have to try it out.

But the windoze port does
not work well with Simplified Chinese versions
of Windows: the menus are not in Chinese, the sizes
of characters are not correctly calculated leading
to overlapped characters, the export filters
(I have tried EPS/WMF/SVG) generate very bad-looking
results, and, most important, Chinese characters in
the EPS export do not show up correctly. I'd like to
know if this situation is going to be improved, or it
will stay as it is?

This situation is not going to be improved for 0.91, most likely. It's due
to the fact that we can't use FreeType2 under Windows for (IIRC)
font-config reasons. The EPS filter uses FT2, I don't know what the WMF
and SVG filters use. I believe Hans is bugging the appropriate people to
rectify the situation.

Why the menus don't show up in Chinese on the Win32 system, I don't know.
