while configure, it says : checking for libxml > 1.8.5 .... found
i have libxml2-2.2.16 installed from source files
i just noticed that rpm -q libxml shows 2.2.10 :-)



but one strange things happened
when I opened one of the sample files (the one with the chronogram)
deleted all the objects there and draw a simple network diagram
then I could save it without any problems, with a different name and in 
a different directory

I don't understand that at all
