Reflections on Dia

I am looking for a drawing program to draw simple figures for inclusion in a word processor as 
illustioations. Dia is good solution, but I have some suggestions.

1. I find it annoying that the line does not have a textbox for naming for example the data signalled by the 
line. You can add text but I think it should always be available for all lines.

2. Rotate objects. I would like to have a possibility to rotade all objects 90 180 and -90 degreeds.

This is usually available in other similar program.
