where are the shape files for the basic shapes?

Can somebody point me to the .shape files for the basic shapes?

I'm probably just not looking in the right place, but I couldn't
find them in the source tree, or in the generated output files.

In particular I'm looking for the xml description of the
connection points for the basic objects so that I can interpret
connections in an external program that does graph layouts.
