Dear GNOME devs,
currently yelp is inconsistent in showing icons in the list of help
documents. This could be resolved by making sure that the help ID is
matching the .desktop file (many of them renamed to reverse DNS, while
help ID remained untouched).
This means
* changing HELP_ID in help/Makefile.am to match the .desktop file.
* changing the ID when calling help with gtk_show_uri_on_window() or
gtk_show_uri(). I don't know if there are other ways of showing help pages.
* changing cross references.
Another approach would be to improve yelp in looking up the icon, that's
here:
https://git.gnome.org/browse/yelp/tree/libyelp/yelp-help-list.c#n384
Btw, the GNOME Goals wiki page recommends the gnome-love mailing list
for this, but it doesn't exist ...
