storage to the entire Internet population for whatever purpose they desire.
It costs money per user, but we don't have a per-user revenue model.

It does make sense for GNOME to provide infrastructure to *contributors* for
the purpose of *contributing*, on a best-effort basis.  So it really does
need to be restricted to foundation members.


When I siad I would re-visit that decision I didn't mean that we would
open it up to everyone.  Clearly, that would not be a wise move.  No,
I wanted to give specific people accounts if they are going to be
working on something that is sanctioned by GNOME or by GNOME
foundation folks.  I don't think Alex is a GNOME foundation member.
It also forces a lot of us who are foundation members to use non-free
services as well as not use our own technologies while plotting ways
for others to use our technologies.
