It depends on what tools to use to view the commit list.
Btw, which tools do you have in mind that don't display diverging
commits? Such tool should be fixed or avoided, because it gives a false
view on which commits are present on a branch.
git log correctly displays all commits, for example. The well-known git
lola alias too, even if you remove the --all parameter.
