Not sure what "rebuild" means, but I'd take jhbuild (see
https://developer.gnome.org/jhbuild/ ) and either use the GNOME 2.32.1
jhbuildrc file to compile from tarballs [1], or set the "moduleset"
value in ~/.jhbuildrc to "gnome-2-32" to compile from git.
