Sure. But writing a survey and publishing it takes less than a week. It
seems you're well ahead on the questions part already, and I also feel
you have a personal agenda to fulfill with this survey.

I agree that we still need to talk about how to get the survey to most
people and what's the best way to attract a "representative part" of the
GNOME user base. Thinking out loud here, I wonder what could be done to
get distributions providing GNOME 3 to advertise the survey on their
websites. Maybe calling it a census would also sound more neutral.

I would also try to involve the GNOME marketing team as they can help or
have ideas about positively marketing this census.

As a side note, GNOME has limesurvey installed on its servers I believe
so I don't think we need to host it anywhere else.
