The visually impaired use sound and touch. Speech recognition, screen reader, braille keyboards.
The developer of emacspeak is blind. How about asking him if the distro is easy to get around. I doubt he'll say yes.

Since Vinux is Ubuntu based,
Vinux is a set of scripts.
it is not likely to have all GNOME 3 components
Blind people care less about a desktop and more about using the computer.
