Hi there!
How can I directly switch to Workspace Nr (4)?
Ctrl+Alt+4 doesn't work?

Are there command-line options to switch to a given ws?
eg. workspace-switcher 4
or to switch to an yet unused (without any windows) ws
e.g. workspace-swithcer new

What's the best way to send keyboard-strokes (as would be from /dev/input)
to gnome/X ? e.g. Ctrl+Alt+Left, left-mouse-button,...
Is there any app doing this? (sending stdin as keystrokes to gnome/X)?
