I just mkdir and rsync it to another directory on the parent level.  Instant backups.  Sysadmin tip.

Hmm. This doesn't even do backups on optical disks, does it? Isn't
that a bit weird?

I mean, I am not asking for support for tape drives, but CDs at least?
