Not quite the same as Spidermonkey implements the 1.7 spec, and new
features are being used in gnome-shell already (1.7 introduced "let");
there are also some differences specific to gjs/seed, to import
modules for example.
IIRC those were the main differences I encountered when I "ported"
some gjs examples to seed, but it was just when seed got introduced,
things may well be different now.
Nevertheless it is still very early to pick a winner, and we agree on
that, both gjs and seed should still mature before a decision is made,
and Johan Dahlin made a good list of evaluation points.
