Hi,
I was looking at this bug [1] since it affects me using combining
characters in vim when I'm using the terminal. Before I look more
into this I have a few questions:
1. Will this be fixed soon?
2. If not what would be the preferable solution to fixing this? And
how could I help fix combining character support?
I've looked at rxvt which has support for combining characters. I
also looked at the gtk_text_view and gtk_text_buffer documentation and
followed the tutorial [2]. I think using these would be a good thing
unless it doesn't fit with the code. I just started looking at the
gnome-terminal code any help pertaining to this problem would be very
much appreciated.
