Seems interesting, but at a first thought I don't think this interface
will result in much more than a single dialog...
And I fear that will not be enough.
Maybe making the whole conditional formatting concept a bit more
complex than the one used in OpenOffice.org might translate in a more
sophisticated user interface. What do you think? Am I missing
something?

The course is basically focused on user interface design, that is, to
design efficient and user-friendly graphical user interfaces.

Yes, it might do since we've already been doing usability reviews as
an exercise.
Though it could be very hard to find an application which suits my needs...
