Apologies for accidental click on 'send' previously.

It has been mentioned that a gio backend would be added to libgnomeui [1],
may I ask what is the status of that? In particular I am interested in
gnome_thumbnailer_* which I already use in PaperBox, and would like
to replace that with something else (?) and remove the libgnomeui dependency.
