To my knowledge, every bugzilla product has a -maint who is the assignee
of new bugs - these aliases get followed by bugzilla users, who get
notified of changes to the bug.

Also, a very quick Google search shows a lot of -maint email addresses
out in the wild referenced on websites and in documentation.

I suspect that they're much more widely used than you might think.
